Long Hiatus
Hello, am back after a long hiatus from blogging and spending a year in Afghanistan am thrill to be back fresh and ready to post commentaries. I believe we are living in interesting times and history is shaping the destiny of our great country now that we have elected a President whose views are very radical. I'll be commenting as time goes on, until then take care and will post soon.

A TRIP TO VIETNAM
This past December we took a trip to Vietnam. It was a long anticipated trip. A trip I wanted to do for a very long time. Vietnam is a beautiful country rich with history and filled with great people. Despite the war the majority of Vietnamese do not have hard feelings towards the US at least the younger generation. The country is moving forward and is becoming more capitalist than communist. You still see propaganda but not as you see in other communists countries. Over all we had a great time in Vietnam and we are planning to return again. My favorite place was Saigon, and boy what a place! It is very vibrant and full of life. I hope you enjoy these pictures..

Do Something About it! Stop Whining!
So, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Blame the President for the slow clean up in Mississippi and Louisiana. What can the President do? Federalize the clean up efforts and sent thousands of troops to do what the local government ought to be doing in the first place? Look how many hurricanes have hit Florida with devastating effects.
I do not recall Florida blaming the Federal Government for not doing enough. That region has changed from the effects of hurricanes and yet people go about their business. People rebuilt and moved on, however, for some strange reason Mississippi and Louisiana want the government to do its lifting for them. Especially stars. My philosophy is, that if all those stars are so concerned with was is going on there, then instead of complaining to the press they should roll up their sleeves and do something about it.
I do remember, that many famous people got together and raised a lot of money for those two states. Whatever happened to all the money? There is so much the government can do. I bet that the Democrats would do a better job if they were in power. NOT, so until them quit whining and do something about it!

AMUSING DOCUMENTARIES
It is amusing to read about how horrible the United States is. Funny thought, that those artists who produce movies and documentaries portraying the United States as an out of control imperialist nation, never bother to make documentaries about the Sudan, showing Muslims enslaving Christians, the Cuban gulag, the North Korean regime and endless atrocities committed through out third world countries agaisnt their citizens.

I dare Mr. Winterbotton, the British director who produced "The Road to Guantanamo" to make a documentary showing how political prisoners are really treated in that grand paradise of Cuba. Why I Joined the Military A Response to Some White Guilty Moneyed Lib Named Joel Stein
I just read one of the most funny articles from a newspaper called the Wussy Times or Los Angeles Times-or something like that-It is about some guy with a big pair of cojones, who by asserting he is agaisnt our troops he is a tough guy. Well tough guy, let me tell you that I do believe in our troops, I love my country, I am patriotic, and when my time to go fight comes I will go.
No, I don't like this war, but I am a warrior. I fight because I owe a great deal to this great country of ours. I know what you thinking, I am brainwashed and an ignorant. But guess what, I am also educated like you. Really did you have to put at the end of your article that you have money and all those cliches associated with people like you.
I know what you are attempting to say in your article. Only dirt poor people-Hicks and minorities-join the military because that is the only way they can get a job or some other old liberal cliche you guys say. Hey boy? how many minorities and hicks work with you? Just wondering. When was the last time you had a black boss at your stupid newspaper?Just wandering?I don't really care that you did not join the armed forces, more power to you. However, we are not an army of people who ignore morality and defenitely we are not tools of American imperialism as you candidly put it. Far better than that, we are truly a diverse bunch of individuals who fight not for this war or whatever fantasies you devise.
We fight for us, so that we come home alive. We have conservatives, liberals, Democrats, and Republicans in our ranks something you cannot fathom, because in the end, you journos only write for other journos. I can see from your writing all you prejudices and hate, and for that I thank you. I thank you because, we need more people like you stating what you believe, do you think that for one minute most Americans who put ribbons in their homes, cars, front yards are doing so because they feel guilty that we are fighting a war "not worth" fighting?Well you are WRONG! most Americans in the heartland do not share your views and care less for your newspaper.
I fight because I love America this land with all its beauty and ugliness, because no nation is perfect. Nonetheless I rather be in America than anywhere else. And I love to say this, but there will always be a share of people willing to sign up for military service because they believe in their country. And in an ending note Joel, I did not have to joint the military, I come from a well to do family, I graduated from a well known university, I have travelled to over 25 countries and every year I travel. by the way I just got back from the Caribbean. I am fluent in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and right now I am learning Arabic. I was asked to become an officer in the Army but I rather be a salty Sergeant-I have more fun with the enlisted personnel-Worked in the finance industry, got bored and went into law enforcement and many other things I could tell you, but you can understand how it is since you are also a money guy yourself.
P.S. If someone tries to kick your butt let me know, I am willing to defend your sorry ass even though is beyong my comprehension why someone would want to waste his or her time with you.

What A General!
Murtha Chesty you ain't. We are entitled to our own opinions and that is what is great about this nation. You General, with all due respect are just another dumb politician. So you will not enlist in the army...I guess our army sucks then, or perhaps our boys cannot measure to your bravado. How many medals did you say you have? or it is forbbiden for lowly sergeants to ask decorated armchair generals to go shove it!
After all our freedom of speech in this country allows all of us the opportunity to voice an opinion. It's one of our great stregths as a nation. Hmmm where did I read that?

LAZY
I have not been writing much recently. I have been too lazy and tire from too much work. I have lots of things to say however, I always manage to put a "but" about things I want to write about. Nonetheless, there are lots of interesting things to write about, and I am kicking myself to get my butt to the computer to write. Some recent events in my life for example have prevented me from writing. For example, I am serving with the National Guard after having spent 13 years in the Marines. And for the last couple of weeks I have up and downs in my military career.
About three weeks or so I was scheduled to go help with the hurricane relief efforts but because I was not notify well in advance, I was not able to go, and that really pissed me off! However, that is part of life and while in the army we soldiers must adjust to changes. Another event that has me in suspense is the probability that sometime in the future I am going to go to Gitmo. I am schedule to go soon and this is one of the many reasons why I have not written much lately.
In essence, I am going to make every effort to regularly write about things that I find interesting, and hopefully many people as well will find interesting long and I promise to write as often as I can.

Annoyed at nitwit activists
Hi boys and girls! Here is a crazy thing I came upon today. An activist who is inviting chicks to use their assets to save the world! Wow! Now we are going to have a whole bunch of chicks running around nude saving the world!
There is only one problem. Islamofascists don't care about women. See the one above. One of the many women executed in public at a stadium in Afghanistan
before we went in! So you see boys and girls, women are sub-humans with no rights! They are mere property to islamofascists. And lets remember also that those Islamofascists are terrorists, and they are animals whose only mission in life, is to kill innocent people no matter who they are. Another thing, terrorism is "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated agaisnt noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents." Well this is the definition officially giving by the U.S. and I know there will be a whole bunch of you who will go nuts over this, since our government is evil and repressive, especially if they are REPUBLICANS.

Criticizing How Fit The President Is
Okay boys and girls, I know that there are many of you out-there who do not like the President. But, given all the crazy crap going on the world right know why in the heck will someone write a column about how fit the President is? Come on, give me a break! Everything this President does is ridiculed, scrutinized, analyzed by the elites, and criticized. Now a columnist writing-whining more likely- for the Los Angeles Times penned a column about how much the President exercises. Shit man cut the bro a brake! I believe it is good we have a President, who exercises. Unlike another President who pretended to exercise, and then run off to Mickey D's to stuff his face with Big Macs..Any-one?, Any-one?, Any-one? But then, the partisan press never said "Unfortunately, most of us have more demanding jobs than he does." Oh really? Since when journalist think they have important jobs? I guess the partisan media is going insane, about how the President, is handling the stress that comes with a "not so demanding job" unlike a very important job, such as being brown nose journalists perhaps.
