I came upon this article that Mark Thompson from Time Magazine wrote November 3, 2003 regarding our wounded soldiers in Iraq. I am a strong supporter of the War however, this article helps put things into perspective by showing how our soldiers are coping with their injuries. What is more amazing is that despite their serious injuries, the soldiers in the article are proud of their service! I was a grunt in the Marines and I do believe that war is horrible, but if we do not fight for our freedom, there will be no Republic worth fighting for.
