Farewell To Our Loyal Friend

A dear friend of us was taken away from us. Our dear and belove friend, was our dog Mojo. He developed cancer in the bones, and there was nothing that we could do to help him. He was very loyal and very happy. We will miss him so much, but wherever he is, he is in a better place. We will always miss you dear friend. You filled our lives we so much love and happiness. Thank you for the seven wonderful years you gave us.

Talk about bullshit. The liberal media.. Excuse me, the partisan media is going bunkers about a Marine shooting a so call insurgent, but there is not a word about the poor woman who worked for CARE and was killed with a gunshot to the head by probable insurgents. Those cock suckers are not insurgents, they are terrorists plain and simple. They do not follow rules, they do not have the same standards we in the west hold. That little shit head deserved to die, and I do not care if I sound shallow . War is ugly and brutal, soldiers are driven by fear, adrenalin, and self preservation.

The Marines have a difficult task ahead of them. Urban warfare is extremely brutal, and heavy casualties will be inflicted if proper action is not taken. Therefore, it is easy for armchair generals to criticize our troops. We are fighting an unconventional enemy, who does not wear an uniform, and does not have rules of engagement. They do not discriminate. They kill women, children, and men without remorse. Now you fucking media libs, we in the armed forces do not kill indiscriminately. We go to great lengths not to inflict civilian casualties.

And remember that we are in a defensive action. And the purpose of this defensive action is:
to retain control or terrain, gain time, develop more favorable conditions for offensive action, or to economize forces to allow the concentration of forces elsewhere.
Therefore, this individual Marine was doing his job. We do not know what was going on at the time. We are only hearing what the partisan media want us to believe. But this time is not going to flight. I would probably have done the same thing, because as an NCO my job is to protect my men. And I bet, that not many in the liberal media know that those cock suckers are strapping their dead comrades with explosives. The purpose of this is, that when we go thru dead bodies in order to exploit information for intel, we get blown to pieces. Why? Because they want to kill as many of us as they can.

We also operate in small numbers as rifle squads, and we need to act decisively in order to destroy the enemy. And that is to :
Destroy the enemy by fire once he comes into small arms range of the squad's fighting position. The enemy is destroyed as far forward of the squad's fighting position as possible. The closer the enemy comes to the squad's fighting position, the more friendly casualties he will inflict.

So you see, that Marine did what he did in order to fight another day. And by doing so, he probably saved the lives of other team members. So you libs out there quit your whining. We are fighting a different war now!

The Day After

Man what an election! I went to bed at four o'clock in the morning watching the results and was static when our President won. The networks knew that President Bush took Ohio but in the name of caution-ha what bullshit!-they did not call it because they thought it was too close. However, to me, it was obvious that the networks were in the dump. They refused to acknowledge the obvious reality, that this time, the President won the popular vote and the electoral college with a pretty good margin of victory.

So at four o'clock, I hit the sack, because by then, I knew we had won. Four hours later, I woke up and went for breakfast, and I notice all the gloomy faces around me. Those gloomy faces were all rooting for monsieur Kerry, but their candidate did not win. It was funny seeing all those "hip people" not long ago wearing their Kerry buttons and their fuck Bush t-shirts walking around proudly in Manhattan, as if they were cool.

Now these pathetic people were down, and not wearing those stupid shirts, and stupid buttons. Man, I got to admit, that I had a big grim from ear to ear. How sweet to see all those morons down after all the crap they spew at the President and conservatives. Boy, it was sweet revenge! It was rejuvenating and uplifting seeing liberals down. I guess libs will never learn: hate does not sell our conservatives ideas will. God bless America!

In Good Spirits

Hi, I am glad to be back! I took some time off from blogging due to work and also for lack of motivation. I was on the dumps recently and I felt like not writing at all. However, today I feel in good spirits. The President was re-elected and I am on a transitional period on my career choice, that I am hoping this move will be very satisfying. I will let every-one know if this career move worked for me later on. But today is a great day for Republicans and Conservatives in general.

Our President won re-election with a pretty good margin. He won the popular vote and the electoral college. And I can't help but glee with joy at the irony of this victory. Four years ago it was conventional wisdom that our President was illegitimate, and that he was selected not elected. Now, what are the libs going to say? They are dying with rage and they know that our President won big, and they cannot stand it.

They cannot believe we stupid Americans elected him for a second term, The stupid heartland of America elected him and they cannot stand it. Well that is too bad. They are going to learn the hard way. We conservatives are here to stay. It took us well over forty years to be where we are now. And we did it by championing our ideas as opposed to the libs who rammed their ideologies down our throws by using liberal judges. America is not going to take it anymore, we conservatives will take our country back from the libs. And now we are seeing their retreat. God bless America.

Our Wounded Soldiers

Shit man, this evening I saw a report on ABC news about the way some of our wounded boys are being treated by the fucking bureaucrats at the pentagon. There was a guy sleeping on his car because he could not get an apartment because the Pentagon put a claim notice agaisnt him. His crime? He reenlisted and got a $2,700 bonus and a day later he was hit by shrapnel from a mortar round. He almost died and was discharged, and the fucking bureaucrats wanted their shitty money back! Another guy lost both his arms and he was being jerked around with his discharge papers and nobody would do anything for him. And then a cop who was in the National Guard, almost lost his leg and home because the brainiacs at the Pentagon didn't want to help him after he was rehabilitated.

Boy I was angry, and because of that report a freaking three star General fixed things right away! He obviously was embarrassed but that is no excuse to treat our boys and girls that way. If you want to recruit people, then that report discouraged a great deal to enlist. Not to mention that it gives good ammo to the left and the crazy Democrats. So you dumb bureaucrats at the Pentagon get your shit together, and treat our heroes with dignity, and stop playing politics with them. Because I know what it feels like to be treated like that, especially by officers who are jerkoffs! And the thing that touched me the most is, that none of those brave men, complained about their service or their wounds! GOD BLESS THEM ALL and I hope they do well in their lives despite their difficulties.

I watched last Friday debate and I was hollering at the TV. Kerry got to me because he is such a liar. He did not want to face his past and instead, attacked the President, when the President called him liberal. This guy has no guts, no backbone, no anything. Adventures in The City

I love New York City. I live on Lower Manhattan, the street I live on, is lined with restaurants, shops, bars, tattoo parlors, and an array of punks. In the summer, my block gets crazy and wild, and I can't imagine myself living anywhere else. What's even more strange is that I am a conservative Republican living amongst liberals but I don't care, since Manhattan has so much to offer. So, it is not often that I see strange things that would cause bewilderment to other people not use to the city.

For instance, this afternoon after I came from work, I took my dog out for a walk. There is nothing unusual about taking your dog out for a walk. However, this afternoon was memorable in the sense that I was yelled at, by an environmental wacko. The reason I was yelled, was that my dog stopped near a tree to smell, and naturally he picked a scent, and peed on the tree. And out of nowhere this ranting lunatic came from behind me, and started yelling at me for allowing my dog to pee on it.

He was telling me that I was immoral for letting my dog pee in the tree! He went on to say the trees were essential to our survival, and that by allowing my dog to pee on the tree I was committing murder! Well he was a typical environmental wacko, Fat, bold, and probably he hadn't gotten laid for awhile. So like a good New Yorker, I told the little fat bastard to FUCK OFF! (gasp.. How can a conservative say something like that!!) And I walked off. Naturally, the frigging blimp followed me for half a block lecturing me and yelling.

Folks I'll tell you, this nut cases are everywhere, and if you allow yourself to be intimidated by these shit heads, they will have the better of you. So, I ignored him and eventually he stopped following me. But boy, it felt good to say the word fuck off when it was warranted.

I read Liz Smith column today in the New York Post, and she had this letter that Michael Moore supposedly wrote:

Now, now dear boy, you believe that 30 percent of the country is Republican and because we are relentless we control the White House, both houses of Congress, and the Supreme Court. I have to admit that it was a pretty good debate. I was a bit concern about the President. The Presdident could have been more forceful with John Kerry in outlining his plan on Iraq and the overall war on terrorism. John Kerry kept saying that he would do a better job in protecting America, and that his plan was better than the President's plan. However, I don't know what is the plan Kerry has in mind, and here, is where I feel, that the President missed an opportunity to outline his plan. There was also the first question Jim Lehrer asked John Kerry about how he would do a better job in preventing another 9-11 that bothered me. Part of the answer went like this:

"...I'll never give a veto to any country over our security. But I also know how to lead those alliances...I have a better plan to be able to fight the war on terror by strengthening our military, strengthening our intelligence, by going after the financing more authoritatively, by doing what we need to do to rebuild the alliances, by reaching out to the Muslim world, which the president has almost not done, and beginning to isolate the radical Islamic Muslims, not have them isolate the United States of America..."

But, has not, the President been doing what Kerry said? The President has been active doing everyhting he can within his powers, to keep us safer. Nonetheless, there is so much hate for this President, that everything he does is looked throug a prism of hate. Already, the punditry is disecting and examining every word the Presdient said, and without any surprises the debate was won by John Kerry. He was more forceful and in control, while the President, seemed annoyed at times. And remember, that is us that are isolating the terrorists and not the other way around. We are fighting the terrorists in Iraq, they are comming to die in Iraq for their cause.

Bringing Back the Draft?

Lately we been hearing from certain politicians, that it would be a good idea to bring the draft back. The rationale for this is, that there would be an equitable representation of people making sacrifices. However, we already have an equitable representation of people making sacrifices in this war. It does not matter what color you are, we all bleed the same color: RED.

Charles Rangel New York Democrat first introduced a bill in Congress to reinstate the draft http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/01/07/rangel.draft/ because he was agaisnt it. Now, John Kerry is trying to tell us, that President Bush is planning to reinstate the draft in November if he wins. Kerry is trying to scare us, but the truth is, draftees are a poor choice. The army needs educated young men, and women to fill out some of its sophisticated billets. Even in the infantry, we need soldiers with basic skills, such as math in order to do calculations to find positions on a map, how to align the mortars that support the infantry, and call for airstrikes when we find ourselves in a jam.

So, do not believe this hype about the draft, because it won't happen. The Wounded Come Home

I came upon this article that Mark Thompson from Time Magazine wrote November 3, 2003 regarding our wounded soldiers in Iraq. I am a strong supporter of the War however, this article helps put things into perspective by showing how our soldiers are coping with their injuries. What is more amazing is that despite their serious injuries, the soldiers in the article are proud of their service! I was a grunt in the Marines and I do believe that war is horrible, but if we do not fight for our freedom, there will be no Republic worth fighting for. Why We Are a Great Nation

Today I read an article on The New York Sun by Thomas Bray about the sad state of the European military. This is a fantastic piece by Mr. Bray because it brings to light what is wrong with 'Old Europe' and why our friends at the other side of the pound cannot help us to fight terrorism. Mr Bray writes:

"the hard fact is that the European military establishment, never very large to begin with, is a 90-pound weakling. America, despite years of cutbacks beginning in the wake of the Cold War, plunked down nearly $400 billion last year to support its military. That's about 3.7% of gross domestic product, only about half the amount spent at the height of the Cold War. The European Union, by contrast, spends less than 2% percent of its GDP on the military."

Contrast this with what Kerry is saying. He wants a broader coalition-France and Germany?- when in reality the facts of the matter paints a different reality. Europe prefers to spend more on its welfare state than its military, but when the crap hits the fan, who Europe turns to for help? Us of course. No wonder why Europe and most of the world hate us.

What Female Prisoners?

As you probably already know, the 2nd U.S hostage was killed in Iraq by that little shit Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. He said he would kill the American hostages if female prisoners were not release. But there is one problem with that, there are no female prisoners except for two. They are Huda Salih Mahdi Ammash who was a Ba'th Party Regional Command Member and better known as 'Mrs. Anthrax', a biological weapons researcher, and Dr. Rihab Rashid Taha 'Dr. Germ' who helped Iraq make weapons out of Amtrak. The word is that 'Dr. Germ' trained Abu Musab al-Zarqawi on the use of chemical weapons.

So, was this guy is doing is sending a message to those two held by our forces, since one of them is about to spill the beans on WMD, and the role Abu Musab al-Zarqawi played. He wants to intimidate them not to say anything, because those two still have relatives around. So keep an eye on this story because it is going to be interesting. It seems unbelievable but The Democratic National Committee invited mothers of American military personnel serving in Iraq to denounce President Bush. Excuse me, but, this is akin to The Republican National Committee asking the mothers of American soldiers during WW II to denounce President Roosevelt's war effort. How low are these people willing to go? Have the Democrats gone insane-perhaps they already have-because this smacks of sedition. I am sympathetic to those mothers who have lost their sons and daughters, but we must remember that on September 11, 2001 we lost more American lives than we lost in Pearl Harbor. American lives lost at Pearl Harbor were 2,400 with another 1,200 wounded. And in September 11 the number of American who died in this horrendous act was:

World Trade Center: 2,830 dead and Missing
The Pentagon: 123
American Airlines Flight 77: 64
American Airlines Flight 11: 92
United Airlines Flight 175: 65
United Airlines Flight 93: 45

So, the sum of these unspeakable acts is 3,096 lives lost in a space of about 3 hours! Now ask yourself this question, what are we the United States ought to do? Sit back and find a way to understand those who are trying to kill us? NO! We fight back, that's what we do. We fight hard and with resolution because September 11, 2001 changed our perspective about terrorism.Since the 1970s we viewed terrorism as a law enforcement issue, sure our government took some action here and there, but nothing serious as to what President Bush is doing. Therefore, is no wonder terrorists felt they could strike and get away with it, because Western countries were unwilling to challenge them. They preferred to negotiate or bribe terrorists, but this only encouraged the terrorists even more to the point that they became deadlier and bolder. Remember November 4, 1979? Iranians radicals seized the US Embassy in Teheran taking sixty-six American Diplomats.

The Carter Administration ordered a rescue mission, but the mission ended in disaster when several helicopters encountered mechanical problems, and another helicopter crashed into a C130 aircraft. And Europe was shocked and surprised that the mission took place without advance consultation from the Americans, sound familiar? And guess what the European Economic Community do? They agreed to threaten sanctions against Iran hoping to prevent the use of force! Now Iran is building an A-Bomb and ignoring the IAEA request to stop its nuclear ambitions. Another bold and deadlier attack occurred October 23, 1983 in Beirut when a 12,000 lb bomb detonated destroying a US Marine Corps base killing two hundred and forty oneAmericans.

Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility and we responded by pulling out of Beirut. In essence terrorists have been killing Americans for years, and after the horrors of September 11, America said enough is enough! We are going to bring this fight to your backyard and we will annihilate you. This is a sensible choice to make because if we choose not to fight, thousands of Americans will be killed in our cities again. So, when Terry 'The Punk' McAuliffe says that they need to talk realistically about what's happening and that we need to tell the parents of the 1,000 soldiers killed in Iraq that the situation there is pessimistic, Terry 'The Punk' McAuliffe is undermining the war effort. And that also goes to another fellow traveler, Ricky Holbroke. Ricky Holbrooke said on CBS's Face the Nation "We have a classic mismatch between resources and mission. The current course within the current resources is not achievable. If you want to achieve that course, you're going to have to talk about additional forces, and they are not going to come from our allies, or you're going to have to look for a way to get the political settlement".

So what is going on with these Democrats? They do not understand that we cannot look for diplomatic solutions. Europe is not capable to fight this war militarily, except for Britain and a few other allies. America must defend itself because lets face it, this fight is for our Republic. The young men and women who join our military understand the risks. We do not have a conscript army, our forces are professional. America does not send its sons and daughters to get killed indiscriminately, we do all we can to avoid fighting. This fight was brought to us, we did not ask for it. And if things are going bad in Iraq for now, remember that we have been there for only 18 months. We have been in Germany for 57 years and we are still there.

Terrorists in Iraq are destroying the infrastructure, killing civilians, the police, the Americans and those who are perceive as collaborating with the occupiers. This is not new. We suffered the same fate in Germany after her defeat. We fought a group of organized Hitler Youth called Nazi Werewolf. They specialized in ambushes and snipping, and killed many allies and Soviet soldiers and officers. It was not until 1949 when the Cold War was under way that these misfits faded. So for the Democrats to try to undermine the war effort by using the mothers of those soldiers killed in Iraq is reprehensible, and traitorous at best. Therefore, I will encourage Terry 'The Punk' McAuliffe and Ricky Holbrooke to inform themselves before they start to dispense advise about Iraq and the war on terrorism. I will suggest to these two clowns to start by searching the website of the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation to look at the timeline of terrorists acts committed since 1946. They may learn something.

CBS was Misled!

Great! Finally CBS has admitted they were misled. But how many days it took for them to admit they were wrong? I guess the guys in pajamas who are not "professional journalists" were right after all. I wonder how uncle Dan is feeling?

President Bush: Smart or Stupid?

Sunday afternoon I caught a little bit of a local radio show that I enjoy listening too. There was a Democrat analysts that often contributes to FOX News analyzing the President's intellect. He was wondering whether the President is an intellectual! What is the problem with these people? Just because the president is a plain spoken person, who can relate to the American people by not using big words, not being arrogant, and feeling superior to others, the President is an idiot.

Have you seen the way Kerry acts? He is not humble, one can see his arrogance, he likes to show how smart he is, after all he told us he has a better plan on how to do things in Iraq. His plan is a smart plan, but he cannot tell us what that plan is because it is a secret plan. The President is staying the course in Iraq, he is not wavering, he has a vision and he has told us what his plans are for the future of Iraq. The president envisions an Iraq where people are free, free to do what they want, a democratic Middle Eastern country, and for this the President lacks intellect? The American public would decide in seven weeks whether our President is smart or stupid. But I already know the answer to that question. Do you?

Uncommon Valor

By now every-one has heard how John F Kerry distinguished himself in Vietnam and how he has made this the central theme of his campaign. We have seen home pictures of John Kerry in full military gear in the jungles of Vietnam looking the part of the warrior. His ads portray him as a highly decorated hero who rescued an army lieutenant that was thrown overboard when engaging the enemy. He spent four months in Vietnam and in those short months he received three purple hearts that earned him a one way ticket back to the States. It is remarkable how he distinguished himself during those four months thirty three years ago. To hear the Democrats, John F Kerry, was the audio Murphy of his generation. For those who do not know who audio Murphy was, he was the most decorated soldier of World War II. audio Murphy received every decoration for valor that the United States had to offer. Additionally, Belgium and France presented to him five other decorations.

So it is, that John Kerry is being presented to the American public, as this great man of valor because he went to Vietnam as a volunteer. John Kerry served his country when others did not- President Bush- and for this we should admire him. However, there were others who went to Vietnam because they truly believed that it was the right thing to do. Some of those warriors are not known nor they will ever be. Nonetheless, there is a name that people ought to remember. His name is Donald Hamblen. Donald Hamblen was a non-nonce warrior, he was a Marine who considered himself an average Marine. An AverageMarine he was not. You see Donald Hamblen suffered a horrible accident on Sept. 21, 1962 while making a parachute jump over Camp Pendleton, California. He was a member of a pathfinder platoon with a force reconnaissance company(Marine Special Forces). He jumped from a C-130 aircraft and when he was about 800 feet above his drop zone Hamblen was caught in freak wind currents drifting his parachute to a series of high tension power lines. And less than 50 feet from the ground, his parachute became entangled in the lines and within seconds his parachute was engulfed in fire.

His canopy melted and Hamblen fell 30 feet to the ground and four days later his left leg was amputated, and here his story gets remarkable. Instead of feeling sorry for what had happened to him, Hamblen vowed to walk again and to return to the Marine Corps as well. What was also remarkable as well, was his attitude towards his leg, for him, it was "I just lost a leg, that's it". Donald Hamblen underwent an eight month period of grueling physical therapy overcoming many obstacles and finally convincing the Marine Corps to restate-him to active duty. And in 1965, Hamblen volunteered for duty to Vietnam and was the only Marine to serve in combat wearing a prosthesis. He lead and trained a 37-man Studies and Observation Group and conducted more than 40 crossborder raids into North Vietnam and was wounded twice while serving 30 months in Vietnam. So here is this man who lost a leg and thought of only serving his country with pride, and honor, as compare to the actions of John F Kerry. It feels great to know that we have such great men in this country willing to go great lengths of sacrifice for their country.

If you are interested is knowing more about this great warrior there is his autobiography One Tough Marine, co-authored by Bruce Norton and also there was an article written by Chris Lawson that appeared in The Marine Times in 1994 titled 'I just lost a leg, that's it' it is good reading and inspiring for our times.

On Being a Hispanic Republican

This is my first posting in this site. What I'd like to do is to share my views with other like minded conservative fellows. I am Hispanic and republican, and living in New York as a Hispanic republican is hard. I have been chided and derided for my conservative views, I have been told that I am crazy for being a republican because republicans are racists. A couple of weeks ago I was told by this lady-she is well educated-that once Kerry is elected I was going to be able to find work in my field! Imagine that! Just because I have not been able to find work in my field I should feel comforted by the fact that If Kerry wins, I would be able to get a job. To me this sounded a bit racist perhaps, she did not meant to say that. But, what else I might to think of this? It is funny to hear the Democrats say that it is good to listen to other points of views, that diversity is good, but whose diversity and points of view they are talking about? It certainly cannot be those of conservatives because according to them we are ignorant, racists, non intellectuals, and blah, blah, blah.

Never mind that most of us are well educated and well informed, perhaps this is what scare those Democrats. Conservatives do not think like lemmings we are individualistic, we do what is right and do what we say we are going to do. This is what a conservative is like however, for me is difficult because I am Hispanic and being a minority conservative is a sin. You are cast away and considered a traitor to your race! However, I have learned not to worry about those things because I am proud to be a conservative and at the end of the day our ideas will prevail. For now this is all I have to write.
